CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 is real ooooo
This VIRUS is not slowing down at all….
The federal and state government are still struggling and battling to flattened the curve of this pandemic
So therefore we all need to take responsibility as citizens….
We all are aware of the HAVOC this CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 pandemic have caused….
But the reality for us now is to start planning for life after COVID-19…
Either we like it or not this CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 have come to stay with us for a very long time to come…
Hence our normal way of life have been changed from what it used to be…
It is no more news for us that a lot of NIGERIANS will loose their JOBS post COVID-19…
let me put into perspective and into context for us all…
About 39 million NIGERIANS will loose their present JOBS post COVID-19 from some of the critical sectors like education,tourism, hospitality business,aviation etc…
This is according to the NATIONAL BUREAU OF STATISTICS & the UNITED NATIONS as well as the INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANIZATION
Presently the federal economic sustainability committee on COVID-19 constituted by president Muhammadu Buhari headed by the vice president of the federal republic of NIGERIA professor Yemi osinbajo have submitted the report of their plan some days ago to create 5 million jobs post COVID-19 when about 38 million NIGERIANS will lose their JOBS…
Isn’t that the level of POVERTY & INSECURITY will continue to escalate my people?????..
Your guess is as good as mine…
Already we have about 95 million NIGERIANS living below the POVERTY LEVEL pre CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 era …
With the current reality and trend it seems we are in a lot of trying times and a difficult times ahead of us as NIGERIANS ……
From all indications I don’t think the economy will be opened FULLY this year 2020 considering the rise in cases every day….
I am so particular about the educational sector because I am a stakeholder in this sector
So therefore I don’t see schools reopening again this year…
This is my personal opinion though…
My opinion may be somewhat harsh,hard or DIFFICULT…..
My opinion arises from all the possible INDICES that are pointed towards the efforts of flattening the curve of this pandemic….
So there is need for us to start thinking out of the BOX on how to build other streams of income for us to prepare for any kind of eventuality…..
It’s very important for us because POVERTY is not good at all …
It’s a scourge that we must all FIGHT headlong in other to be self sustainable and self sufficient.
