Many youths in Nigeria look forward to monthly salaries and forget that they can also get involved in businesses that will fetch them little amounts daily that can later amount to even more than what most monthly salary earners get at the end of a month.
After graduation, everyone is looking for a monthly salary.
Its time to divert our energies and talent to other avenues that can fetch us more.
Five thousand naira per day does not seem like much until you calculate it long term, which is either monthly or yearly.
This is about N150 000 per month and almost two million naira in a year.
You must bear in mind that the businesses to be discussed demand just as much hard work and persistence in order to be successful at it. If you put in your best at any, you will make N5000 or more per day.
You can bear me witness that not everyone that dresses with suit and tie every morning even make this much
I will quickly list out some of such businesses that you can engage in to yield gains without much investment
1. Freelancing
This is one of the easy ways people make money online.
All you need in order to run a freelance business is a skill, good internet connection and a mobile device.
This is something most of us have at our disposal
With freelancing, the more people see how good you are at what you do, the more patronage you will have.
Freelancing does not have to do with writing only. It could include any of the following skills
Transcription & Translation;
Graphic design;
Web design;
Interpretation of languages.
You also do not need a degree certificate in order to be a freelancer.
There are many freelancing sites on the internet. All you need to do is be well skilled at something.
Then make your money off your talent.
2. Tutoring
You can run a program to train students at different levels such as those about to take certificate examinations, those who want to be better at their communication skills, those who want to learn how to play musical instrument etc.

This should not be a surprise. The fashion and beauty industry holds huge business opportunities.
This is because there is always a demand for services in these fields. Women always make their hair. As long as you are well skilled in hairstyling, you will make money.
Especially on weekends when students are to resume with hairstyles to school on Mondays.
There is no shortage of customers.
You can start small by making do of any space available to you. You can then save up to own a shop and get daily returns of nothing less than N5, 000.
In addition to rendering the service of hairstyling, you can also sell beauty products.

5. Sales
The world itself is a market place with transactions going on here and there.
It is no surprise to see that many wealthy people are those who sell.
It is not so difficult to find out the products one should sell. All you need to do is observe products in high demand and with low supply especially in the area you want to set up.
You need to be smart in order to look out for business opportunities and grab them as they come.
6. Online marketing
With the world becoming more digital, you can now make sales of whatever product you wish without having a physical shop.
All you need to do is open a social media account or website and upload your goods there.
You will be able to reach thousands of potential buyers and make sales.
N5,000 daily won’t be a major issue once your sales kicks off.
7. Car Wash
There are over 11.8 million licensed cars in Nigeria. Many families and individuals have private cars.
This goes to show you the huge potential business opportunity available in car-related businesses.
Many think the car wash business is just a petty roadside business that brings in little money, this is not true. There is much money to be made in this business.
A car wash business requires a good location. For example, a city where people who own cars are too busy to wash it on their own is a good place to set up a car wash business.

Lights and sounds equipment etc.
These are some of the businesses we can engage in without needing to get loans or think of much money
