Running your own business requires a lot of energy and the demands of being your own boss can take a toll on your health
Many Entrepreneur love running their own hustle/Business because it is fulfilling and offers freedom…..
This however requires some level of physical Strength,hence the person must be in Good health for a greater part of the business/work season…
Experts say depression and burnout are common among the Nigerian Entrepreneur/work force as they note that 30% of Nigeria work force experience depression…
According to them,about one in three Entrepreneur suffer from this mental health issue,adding that all the stress and long hours can be at least partially to blame for the higher rate of depression….

They also state that entrepreneurs should learn to keep their meals colourful
If your plates are chock full of colourless foods,that might be a sign to add some variety into your diet
Experts in nutrition says eating a bland diet is not only boring,but it can leave gaps in nutrition
You might not get enough fibre or iron or other naturally occurring vitamins if you always stick to the same foods…
Harvard school of public health emphasises that even a single fruit or vegetables does not have all the nutrition you would need daily to stay healthy
So while eating fruits and veggies is a great first step
Remember that variety is just Important and it is the spice of life….
A general rule of thumb is to make sure you are eating lots of different coloured foods….
From deep red beets to leafy green romaine to bright yellow bell peppers,generally the more colour you can heal onto your plate the better….
Entrepreneurs are also encouraged to aim for half an hour of exercise daily…
In addition to paying attention to what you put in your body,what you do to your body also requires your attention…

Fortunately,you do not need to dive into a strenous sport to stay on top of your fitness game….
To stay healthy,experts say adults should be moderate-intensity aerobics exercise for two hours and 30 minutes every week(about half an hour per day)….
Plus strengthening activities on two or more days a week
They note that for business owners with little to no time,studies show that you can even get away with short burst of exercise throughout the day….
So,instead of setting aside an hour each day for a jog around your neighborhood,you can take the stairs throughout the day,but this kind of exercise is not enough to keep you healthy in the long term as an entrepreneur….
You may be chained to your desk, running your own business often means working long days,making the entrepreur more sedentary than average..
Sitting down for extended periods like at your desk all day is hazardous to your health over the long term….
But regular breaks can deter the health risk
To starve off the risks of sitting at a desk all day
A study from the annals of internal medicine suggest adult take a break to get up and move every half hour
It is also vital for entrepreurs to schedule time to relax as running a business can easily become 24/7 job….
But working non stop without a break can quickly lead to burnout
So it is important to relax and get enough sleep
Many people do not get enough sleep on a regular basis…
Expert day you should aim for at least seven to eight hours sleep per day
